In 2007, we launched our now-iconic Marilyn slipper boot, and we knew we were onto something special. It sold out faster than we could have imagined, and the reviews came flooding in. We were thrilled to see how much people loved them! Sometimes, the simplest ideas are the ones that soar.
But when you create something simple, it has to be done brilliantly - and that’s what we’ve become known for.
In those early days, we were determined to create products that people didn’t just want, but truly needed. We ran pop-up shops to meet our customers face-to-face, listening closely to their feedback. One early customer told us: "I need slippers that are cosy for lounging, but durable enough to nip outside on a rainy day"
From that moment, we knew our slippers had to combine good looks with durability. Our products needed to look great, feel amazing, and withstand everyday wear and tear.
That’s why we continue to ask our customers for feedback - and we’ve even employed slipper testers to ensure every product is up to the challenge.

We don’t compromise on quality. Whether it’s Grade A Australian sheepskin, high-quality faux fur, or luxurious Harris Tweed® fabric, we choose only the finest materials for our products. Our slippers aren’t just beautiful - they’re built to last, with memory foam footbeds and sturdy soles designed for comfort and practicality.
Our founder and MD, Howard, has represented some of the world’s biggest names in footwear and fashion. After years of research and countless conversations with customers, he launched Bedroom Athletics in 2007 with a simple goal: to create products that make people feel fantastic.
At the time, slippers were everywhere, but they all looked and felt the same. Howard wanted to change that by offering something fresh - slippers that not only looked great but felt luxurious too. His mission? To banish boring slippers forever!
More than 15 years later, Bedroom Athletics is still delivering on that promise. We’re constantly innovating with new designs, fabrics, and colours to ensure our customers get the very best in comfort and style.
From the Outer Hebrides of Scotland comes the heritage fabric we proudly use in our Harris Tweed® slipper range. This world-renowned fabric, still woven by hand on the islands, adds a touch of timeless elegance to our collection.
Our Kate and William slippers are crafted from premium-quality Harris Tweed® fabric and lined with plush Grade A Australian sheepskin. Look out for our latest addition, the Harry slipper, coming this autumn.

Whether you’re a homebody, an adventurer, or a spa lover, our range has something for you. We started with slippers, but we now offer everything from loungewear and sleepwear to indoor/outdoor slides and hoodies.
Our Unisex Hooded Blanket, launched in 2022, quickly became a bestseller. And in 2024, we’re excited to introduce our Agnetha Travel Slides and Frida Spa Flip Flops, with a new loungewear range on the horizon!
We don’t like to get too comfortable – we’re always striving to be your go-to for comfort.
We’re committed to putting people first, but we also care deeply about the planet. In 2001 we introduced 100% biodegradable bags, and we’ve introduced recycled faux fur and vegan options across our range.
We’ve also introduced our first 100% recycled faux fur slippers. We continue to explore ways to be more sustainable without sacrificing quality or our signature 'fluffy factor'. After all, comfort and conscience can go hand in hand.
